SkipFresh
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how SkipFresh handles information when you use the iOS app or visit this website.
Effective August 27, 2026
Overview
SkipFresh is a music discovery app for Apple Music listeners. You do not need to create a separate SkipFresh account to use the app. SkipFresh does not sell your personal information.
Apple Music access
SkipFresh uses Apple's MusicKit and MediaPlayer technologies, with your permission, to search the Apple Music catalog, play music, access and display your Apple Music playlists, check playlist contents, and—when you request it—create playlists or add songs to your Apple Music library and playlists.
Requests involving Apple Music are processed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. SkipFresh does not receive your Apple ID password and does not store Apple Music account credentials on developer-controlled servers.
Apple manages your Apple ID, Apple Music subscription, and MusicKit authorization. SkipFresh does not receive your Apple ID password. Apple's handling of information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Information stored locally by the app
SkipFresh stores the following information locally to provide app functionality and personalization:
- Played songs, play counts, and play dates
- Favorite songs and artists
- Blocked artists
- Recently used genres and discovery history
- Playlist, album, and artist identifiers
- Playback queue and restoration state
- App settings and preferences
This information remains within SkipFresh's local app storage on your device. It is used for app functionality and personalization, including avoiding repeats, restoring playback, remembering your choices, and improving your discovery results. SkipFresh does not use this information for advertising, analytics, profiling outside the app, or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
Data stored on your device
SkipFresh stores listening history, favorites, blocked artists, discovery history, playback state, and preferences only on your device. SkipFresh does not collect or upload this data to its own servers. You can remove individual items using the app's controls or remove all SkipFresh data by deleting the app and its data. Apple Music access can be revoked in iOS Settings.
Support communications
If you email for support, SkipFresh receives the email address and information you choose to include, such as your device model, iOS version, app version, and a description of the issue. This information is used only to respond to your request and maintain support records as reasonably necessary.
Product updates
If you choose to join the SkipFresh update list, the website collects the email address you submit, the time of signup, and a record of the signup request. This information is used only to maintain the SkipFresh update list and send the updates you request. SkipFresh does not sell this information.
